Work through these diagnostic steps before contacting support — most common issues can be resolved without waiting for a response.

Work through each step in order before contacting support:

  1. Confirm you are using the username (not your email) if the platform uses usernames as the login identifier.
  2. Check that Caps Lock is off. Passwords are case-sensitive.
  3. Clear the app's cache or reopen the app entirely before trying again.
  4. If you recently changed your password, make sure you are using the new one.
  5. If multiple failed attempts have occurred, your account may have a temporary lock. Wait a few minutes before trying again.
  6. If none of the above resolves the issue, contact support and provide your registered username and the approximate time the issue began.

App stability issues are almost always resolved by one of the following steps:

  1. Check your internet connection — switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if one is more stable.
  2. Force-close the app completely and reopen it.
  3. Restart your device. This clears temporary memory issues that can cause apps to freeze.
  4. Check how much free storage your device has. Apps can behave erratically when device storage is nearly full.
  5. Uninstall the current version and download a fresh copy from the official link on the Download page. This ensures you have the latest, uncorrupted version of the app.

This is one of the most common support issues and has a clear resolution process:

  1. Wait at least 15–30 minutes. Some bank transfers and e-wallet confirmations take time to process on the platform's end.
  2. Take a screenshot of the successful transfer confirmation from your banking app or e-wallet. Note the transaction reference number.
  3. Log out of the Mega888 app and log back in to trigger a balance refresh.
  4. If the balance still does not update after a reasonable period, contact support with your transaction screenshot and reference number. Do not make a second deposit before the first is resolved.

Before escalating, work through this checklist:

  1. Confirm your account is fully verified. Withdrawals to unverified accounts are typically held or rejected.
  2. Check that the bank account or e-wallet you entered is registered in your own name and matches your account name exactly.

  2. Wait a few minutes before requesting a resend — delays can occur during high-traffic periods.
  3. Ensure the number you registered with can receive SMS from international senders, as some networks block these by default.
  4. If activation is still not completing after multiple attempts, contact support and provide the mobile number or username used during registration so the team can check the account status manually.
